Top Cement Manufacturers in Nigeria
1. Dangote Cement
Dangote Cement is by far the largest and most popular cement brand in Nigeria. The current total production capacity in Nigeria from its three existing cement plants namely Obajana (10.25MMTPA), Ibese (6.0MMTPA) and Gboko (4.0MMTPA) is 20.25MMTPA.
The Obajana Cement Plant (OCP) located in Kogi State is reputed to be one of the single largest cement plants in the world with a combined capacity of 10.25MMTPA. A fourth line which add 3.0MMTPA to the existing capacity will bring the total capacity of Obajana to 13.25MMTPA by 2015.

Dangote Cement is also the biggest quoted company in West Africa and the only Nigerian company on the Forbes Global 2000 Companies.
2. Elephant Cement
Like most cement brands in Nigeria, Elephant Cement is typically delivered in 50Kg bags for convenience and ease of handling. The cement product offers a reliable quality, high performance solution to the requirements of a wide range of applications, namely:
- Home concrete work such as foundation and garden paths
- Medium strength concrete for drive ways, unreinforced light industrial floors and mass concrete
- Canal precast element
- Masonry work: mortar and plaster

3. Ibeto Cement
Located in Bundu Ama, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, it started producing bagged cement at its Bagging Terminal in June 2005. The Terminal is an ultra-modern bagging plant with a Flat-storage capacity of 50,000 metric tons. Production capacity of 1,500,000 tons per annum which translates to a production capacity of not less than 6,000 metric tons per day. It has two (2) production lines, each with a capacity of 2700 of 50kg bags per hour or designed total production capacity of 5400 of 50kg bags per hour.

This means that nine (9) trucks of 600 bags each will be loaded every hour. It also has a third production line for big bags of 1500 kilograms, popularly known as the Big Bag Plant and yet a fourth production line for Bulk Cement powder which is loaded on special cement trucks fitted with tanks and discharge pumps.
Ibeto Cement company also owns 60% of Nigeria Cement Company Plc (NIGERCEM), Nkalagu, Ebonyi State. This situation has empowered Ibeto Cement to commence the expeditious resuscitation of the old Nigercem plant and the construction of a brand new dry-process plant.
4. BUA Cement Group
