    1. Ginger

    Take ginger tea many times daily and use as much ginger roots as you can handle; you can also chew on fresh ginger roots.

    1. Lemon water

    Its acidic property also dilutes the concentration of stomach acid; this prevents gas, bloating and constipation. Make lemon water by mixing equal amounts of lemon juice and clean water.

    Avoid a high intake of salt to prevent bloating, and do not infest salt when having a bloated stomach if not it will worsen the condition. Avoid canned foods and processed foods; they are loaded with salts even if they don’t taste salty.

    Avoid Refined Carbohydrates: Excess carbohydrates cause water retention in the body; this increases the frequency of bloating. Rather go for complex or unprocessed carbohydrates like whole grains, they don’t retain water and they are not easily digested.

    Overeating: Don’t overeat; it stretches the stomach and cause bloating; stop eating before you get full, take smaller and regular meals than one large meal at a time.

    Avoid aerated drinks and don’t eat too fast: Soda and other carbonated drinks are filled with gas; they fill up the digestive system and their rich content of sugar cause water retention in the body.

    Eating too fast also makes you swallow air along with your food and this can cause bloating.
