Larger quantity of palm oil can be found in different parts of Edo State but as refined as the ones from Ebonyi State. Ondo state especially in Okitipupa area produces palm oil in large quantity due to the presence of large scale palm plantation in that area.

You need to take your time and visit these areas and study how the goods is being produced and moved. It is important to note that palm oil has a lot to do with season, and the best time to buy is during dry season (December to April) when the production is always at the peak.

If you are looking for an investment to boost the production in your family’s palm plantation, that is a good thing. However, you need to understand that investment is a two edged sword. If you still want to go ahead to get an investment, you must do the following:-

1. The farm must be in good shape and potentially profitable. If its not yet, you need to make sure you put the farm in good shape.
2. You must have a business plan detailing how you plan to use the money and how your plan will translate to profit.

If you have these in place, then you are good to go. Search for a potential investor anywhere and any how you think you can find one.
