Import and Export4 Comments

I want to open your eyes to the massive opportunities that are in the business called “IMPORTATION” that a lot of people do not know about.

This business is what I have done and I am still doing personally. It is one of my several businesses and I make much monthly doing it

People are making millions from home without a shop, without an office, without moving from the comfort of their homes.

There are lots of women, who cannot support or contribute to their families financially because they do not have any daily or monthly source of income

There are lots of men who desire financial freedom but are not ready to push themselves.

There are lots of Youths who are trapped with their 9-5 jobs that cannot sustain them

They say knowledge is power. This same information I will be sharing with you has changed a lot of lives. What you will do with this information is what will count, U will either embrace it with all seriousness and determination or u will leave it to slide. Remember if you don’t push yourself nobody will.

What is Mini Importation?

This is the act of bringing things from one country into another with little or no capital.

Why importation?

It’s simple since you’re a Nigerian you directly or indirectly engage in this business because virtually everything we use here is imported down to a toothpick.

Where to IMPORT from?

You can import from China, Turkey, Vietnam, US, UK, Malaysia, Dubai, and Italy…

*China, Turkey, Vietnam, US, UK, Malaysia, Dubai, and Italy*

For the sake of this article, I would discuss only China’s importation.

WHY CHINA?

I know some of you will be wondering or thinking, can something from China be good?  Lol, based on our recent experience with Huawei, Techno, and the like, I used to believe that everything from China was fake until I learned that 80% of the things we use in Nigeria are made in China.

China has become the worlds emerging economy, with its favorable environment, especially for production, they can afford to produce at a reduced and cheap price

Because of the low cost of China products, most manufacturing companies in the United Kingdom and the United States have relocated to China.

Terms commonly used in importation

RMB: RMB (renminbi) is the official currency of the People’s Republic of China.

Procurement agents: They are responsible for buying products directly from the manufacturer in China or other countries.

Yuan: Yuan is the basic unit of the RMB (renminbi) but the word is also used to refer to the Chinese currency.

Logistics Company: Logistics companies help organizations plan, implement, and execute the movement and storage of products, materials, and services throughout the process. This might include transportation, shipping, warehousing, packaging, and security.

MQO: Minimum quantity order

Repurchase rate: The repurchase rate is the percentage rate at which an order is made on a particular product within a certain period, typically calculated within 30/60/90/180/360 days from the first order.

Pre-order group: A group of people gathering together to beat MQO and get a good price from the manufacturer.

Alipay: The Alipay e-wallet app allows users to save their debit or credit card details to the app and then use their mobile phone to make payments, instead of cash or a bank card.
Alipay’s e-wallet is widely used by those living in China for all kinds of different transactions, from paying in-store and online to receiving international money transfers from relatives overseas.

WeChat: A Chinese chatting platform just like WhatsApp that has a translator and you can also make payments to your suppliers through the medium.

What You Need To Begin Your Mini Importation Business

Actually, all you need to start a mini-importation business are things you already have or can get at just the tap of your finger.

In no particular order, here’s a list of all you will need to begin

1. A personal computer (PC) or mobile phone.

2. Reliable internet connection (It can be a modem, Wifi, Mifi, etc).

3. Valid address where your products can be delivered to.

4. Valid e-mail address.

5. A valid international passport or national ID card.

6. Start-up capital.

Websites you shop from in China

1. Alibaba.com is B2B platform that caters for wholesalers. Products are cheap on the site but MQO is high.

2. Aliexpress.com
This is also a site based in China just like Alibaba, it is an international site. The site is more retail. You can buy as low as just one piece of most of the items listed on the  site

Things are more expensive on aliexpress.com than they are on Alibaba simply because it is a retail site.

3. 1688.com
The is the “bàbà” of them because things are very cheap on these sites and yet you can buy most of the items there in small quantities. This is the site most mini importers buy from because of the cheap price and low MQO.

The site is written in Chinese simply because it is not an international site, it is strictly designed for China market and hence the cheap price. So you will need to translate them to English, this is easily done on chrome.

Make sure you install a chrome browser on your phone. If you are using a computer, right on any portion on the website and an option of translating to English among others will pop up. Click on translate to English.

I like this write-up but I'm afraid to pay online to person or company abroad that I can't see or meet physically. If the person/company is fraudulent how can I trap him/it to recover back my money? I want to be sure my money is secured and deliver the goods.
    thank you.
